Vernon Bryant’s philosophy is “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything”, and he has certainly lived up to that on so many levels. Vernon has been a Realtor for over 30 years, is currently a Special Investigator for NC Department of Public Safety, and Chairman of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners.
Vernon Bryant has served his community in many capacities. Vernon has served Halifax County as a county commissioner for over two years, and was a former member and Chairman of the Roanoke Rapids School Board. Vernon’s work experience includes his service with the Division of Community Corrections. Vernon has served on many community boards including; Roanoke-Chowan Regional Housing Authority, Halifax Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, Board of Deacons of First Baptist Church of Weldon, President and Co-founder of Exodus for Youth, Inc., Roanoke Rapids Recreation Department Advisory Board, and many more.
